Intern responsibilities and tasks vary depending on the Bureau you are attached to, but all interns play an important role in their respective bureaus. While all interns will perform some administrative tasks, typing, drafting, making copies, filing, etc. the work Interns do is vital to the day to day functions and bureau projects Wanita MIC is working on.
In addition to typical intern duties you will have the chance to volunteer in community outreach projects and grassroots organizing, assist at Wanita MIC functions, and offer ideas and suggestions. When you take a tour of our website you will have a clearer insight of who we are, what we stand for and what we do.
Interns have the opportunity to work with women members / leaders across the country, planning community service events. It creates opportunities for interns to work closely with the media, collecting daily news clips, formatting press releases, and updating the new media website. The dress code is business casual. The Wanita MIC expects all interns to be MIC supporters and registered voters.
